Surprise by Eve Bunting to share how we will celebrate birthdays in our class.
· giving and
receiving feedback as we wrote our best names and drew our best person.
· quick images and
the game NIM during math.
· our uniqueness
and positive character trait to contribute to our class by listening to There’s
Only One You by Kathryn Heling, Deborah Hembrook & Rosie Butcher
· our first whole
school assembly to welcome us into the new school year.
· mindfulness
practice with our eyes noticing our space and colors, at, below and above our
eye level.

**We have two monarch caterpillars in our classroom
munching on milkweed. It will be
exciting to see what they look like on Tuesday!
**We are brave and kind in our classroom. Each member of our class was both of these
this week in many ways. I’m excited
about our school year together!
